    Hunterdon County, NJ DirectorHello, from one Hunterdon resident to another,

    Since opening the CHYTEN doors here just sixteen months ago, we've now served more than 155 Hunterdon families, with students from all Hunterdon high schools, most of our local sending districts and other major school systems such as Immaculate Conception, Immaculata , Blair, Mt. St. Mary's, Rutgers Prep and The Pennington School.

    Our March SAT students rose 210, 240, 320, 340, 360, 460. One student came in already at 700 in Math. She hit a perfect 800! Acceptances from "schools of choice among CHYTEN students: Rutgers, Penn State, Lehigh, Emerson, Boston College

    We've tutored more than two dozen students in our wonderful Study Skills Program. Unlike other so-called "study skills programs, ours works. We have the C's-to-A's and F's-to-B's to prove it.

    Our second-best day is when yet another parent says "We couldn't have done it without [CHYTEN].

    Our first-best day is when people bring their 2nd and 3rd students into the Center - now more than half a dozen such households.

    Success Stories!

    In this Center, since our opening December, 2008, individual students have improved in so many ways. Among them:

    - All 5 of our students who re-took the SAT in March increased.
    - H.S. Junior: the student’s first SAT exceeded her school-of-choice acceptance averages, and she made full Honor Roll.
    - Mid-School: Language & Social Studies: 2 Ds to 2As
    - H.S. Student: SAT Essay went from 4 to 9
    - Mid-School: Student’s Reading with Comprehension (not speed-reading) went up twofold
    - H.S. Student: C in French became A
    - H.S. Student: D in Spanish became A (block schedule)
    - H.S. Students: Already 2000+ on SAT, a major-college athletic recruit raised existing score another 120!
