A letter from the Director

Our goal is simple – To bring the very best instruction with the best strategies delivered by the best teachers at the best center in Westchester.

We work very hard every day to achieve that goal and since we opened in 2008 have been achieving it every day.

At Chyten, we strive to make a positive influence on each and every student that comes through our door. We are here to support children of all ages with expert instruction in everything from subject tutoring, test preparation, reading & study skills, academic advising, college counseling and more.

We spend a great deal of time and resources screening and hiring exceptional, gifted tutors with a minimum of a Master’s degree and teaching experience. They are all real teachers committed to improving their students’ performance.

Our center in Hartsdale is state-of-the-art with private windowed tutoring rooms complete with computer equipment and all essential teaching resources. It is a very comfortable learning environment and, without exception, every kid who comes here likes coming here.

We pride ourselves in keeping parents in touch with their student’s progress. After every tutoring session and class, tutors post notes to Chyten’s on-line ParentNet so that parents can log on to read about what was covered, how their children are doing, what’s been assigned for homework and other useful information. You don’t have to settle for “fine” when you ask your child how their tutoring session was!

READING & STUDY SKILLS – THE RANDD PROGRAM
The RANDD – Reading & Study Skills program is a ground-breaking 14 hour program that will teach students valuable skills they need to succeed in school. This program covers everything from increasing reading speed and comprehension, improving memory, setting academic strategy, maximizing study environments and developing writing skills. This is a program not to be missed!
