Academic Director - Online Sales

For over 35 years Livius Prep has been providing premier tutoring, test preparation and college counseling to students, schools, and communities throughout New England. We have expanded nationwide and are looking for an outstanding addition to our business development team. 

Can you create interest in our programs while instilling urgency with a prospective client? Can you qualify and enroll students by following a proven sales strategy?

Job Description:

  • Respond timely to assigned inquiries about Livius Programs
  • Qualify, sell and register students by following a proven sales strategy
  • Engage existing clients in cross-sell and re-sell opportunities and campaigns to increase revenue
  • Provide excellent customer service while interacting with prospective and existing clients and families
  • Represent Livius at outside or online events as directed
  • Assist with marketing initiatives as directed
  • Communicate effectively regarding services and program offerings
  • Constantly strive to meet daily, weekly, monthly and annual sales targets and conversions
  • Effectively solicit personally developed leads and client reviews
  • Manage pipeline of inquiries, interviews, and enrollments
  • Properly forecast weekly and monthly revenue and refunds
  • Follow through on the entire sales process, never cutting corners 
  • Be available some weekends and evenings to connect with families when it's convenient for them
  • Provide effective constructive feedback on tutors and counselors/coaches
  • Understand the balance between outstanding customer service and aggressive sales to overcome client objections during the sales process
  • Behave in an uncompromising and consistently honest, moral, and ethical manner
  • Possess self-awareness, curiosity to learn, and persistence and calmness under pressure
  • Self-direct and manage a personal book of business, projects, and additional tasks with little supervision 
  • Be able to work well within a small group or larger team
  • Other tasks as assigned by management

 Qualifications:

· 2+ years of success in consultative/intangible sales (education, fitness, health care)

· Experience in K12 sales / service helpful

· Demonstrates a proven track record of achieving weekly, monthly sales and service goals

· Must have excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills

· High ethical standards are a must

Tutor

We’re looking for SAT/ACT and academic tutors! 

Rooted in over 35 years of experience, LiviusPrep is looking for people who are creative, innovative, unique and most importantly can build genuine relationships with students. We are looking for experienced, responsible, knowledgeable tutors who want to jump in with both feet to help us grow our company and connect with the students around the world. 

Our centers have reopened and we're looking for educators who are willing to work in-person. Our centers comply with social distancing and low-capacity recommendations out of an abundance of caution. Test prep is in high and immediate demand right now, but we also have need for English, math, science and Spanish tutors.

What we ask of you:

· Feel comfortable with the standardized testing process, and have scored well on your own

· Get trained to teach prep for SAT, ACT, and/or SSAT and ISEE exams

· Maintain an accurate online calendar and be available at least five hours per week

· Have completed your vaccinations and be willing to tutor in-person

· Provide notes after each session

· You are computer literate

· You are reliable and punctual and live within a reasonable commute of at least one of our Massachusetts centers (Newton, Wellesley and Lexington)

· You know how to connect with your students

· You have a bachelor's degree or are at least two years into a bachelor's program

· You have a passion for inspiring students to reach their full potential and goals

· You are eligible to work in the U.S. and can successfully complete a federal I-9 form and a national background check
