Meet Jason Breitkopf Director of Academics

Jason joined the Chyten team in October of 2017.  He was born and raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey. After graduating from Elizabeth High School, he attended Brandeis University where he majored in History and Theatre Arts. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Brandeis with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He then studied at the California Institute of Arts, graduating with a Master of Fine Arts in Directing for theatre, video and cinema. Additionally, Jason attended Endicott College and earned a Master of Education in Arts and Learning.  With a strong arts background Jason has produced two short films that have been in the film festival circuit.

Jason is married and has two daughters. He and his family reside in Beverly, Massachusetts.  His wife, Kim, is a teacher, artist and professional actor. His daughters are in middle school and elementary school.  In his spare time Jason enjoys spending time with his family, table-top gaming, reading and writing short stories.

At Chyten, Jason enjoys sharing the best educational services with his students. He excels at teaching the best tips and techniques to his students and tutors. Perhaps his success can be attributed to the many influential teachers Jason had throughout his own academic career. Jason recalled his favorite teacher Mr. Jacque Leighty saying, “He was my freshman year English teacher. He had been a college professor but decided to come home to NJ to teach high school English.  He inspired me try my hand at writing and encouraged me to find my own voice”.

Jason has been an amazing addition to Chyten. You can follow Jason and learn his tips and techniques through the LiviusTV YouTube Channel or by listening to the Livius podcast on Anchor.fm.
